Biography

 

  Kylie Barringer received her BA in Dance at Brigham Young University Idaho, where she participated in the Ballroom, Contemporary, and World collegiate dance teams.  These teams were taught by different choreographers and performed each semester.  While being at BYU-I she has had many different opportunities to take classes from guest artists; one occasion with members of the Bill T. Jones Company. BYU-I opened up new doors of different styles of dance for Kylie.  

 

 

 

Artist Statement

 

  Dance gives me freedom to express, create, and learn through different means. I think it is an effective way of becoming because it involves action. It leads me on a path of learning and growth.
